Noisier than expected and no...
Liked: The location was lovely. A nice village Inn with parking.
Disliked: I hadn't considered how busy and noisy the bar would be and the fact that my room was above the bar. It was noisy both nights until just after closing time.Had I not been on my own, perhaps I would have joined in and not noticed the noise so much. The electric sockets between the single beds wasn't working, so the 1st night I didn't have a working lamp (thought it was the bulb, but when I tried a bulb from the main light it still didn't work) still thought it was the lamp that was broken and unknown to me until morning my mobile hadn't charged either, so was without my mobile the 2nd day.The second day I used another socket and both worked. The kettle didn't fit under the tap easily and I didn't like the way it was in contact with the tap, so no hot drinks for me.There was radox for the shower and hand wash at the sink. No shampoo or conditioner. There was tea, coffee, milk etc but no biscuits. On arrival a lady explained where the doors were to get out and in when the pub was shut, she gave me my key, took my car registration number and explained about the macerator toilet and not to put anything into it other than toilet paper. Then she pointed to the stairs and told me my room was at the very end of the corridor and that was the end of the conversation or contact with anyone from the Inn. (Albeit I was out early in the morning). Perhaps a conversation on where to eat in the village might have been a welcome bonus on arrival. It was about £10 cheaper a night than elsewhere in the area. I thought that was because there was no breakfast.Summary would be that the amount charged didn't reflect standards for me.

Wonderful place, fabulous staff, great...
Liked: A lovely warm welcome when we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone was so friendly. The room was very warm and the beds comfortable. We were a family of 4 with 2 dogs and the room was perfect. Would definitely stay again.

Liked: Very friendly and welcoming staff, room was spotless and I slept really well. Was lovely to see the local pub beneath the accommodation so busy :-)
