Liked: Location, staff and food
Disliked: Access to our room on the 3rd floor was a challenge given the width and how steep the staircase was.

Lovely Victorian Inn full of...

Liked: Quintessential and charming New England inn with a wonderful breakfast each day.
Disliked: Road noise was an issue for us even with sound machines on as our room was near the main road. We woke up each morning before 6am because of loud trucks and cars.

Exceptional

Liked: Fantastic place to stay, full of charm. Good facilities and friendly staff. The tavern served great food and was very popular. A good location with parking, just 2 minute walk into the centre of Woodstock .

A charming Inn to spend...

Liked: The inn is very charming! Heather is a lovely & happy hostess & a great chef. We enjoyed very much the gourmet breakfasts every morning & the room #5 was very comfortable with a separate living room area. It was walking distance to the main road with a few restaurants & shops.
Disliked: There was nothing we didn’t like!

Fab!

Liked: Great fun in the bar, just a pity we picked a stay time when the bar was closed for one of the evenings! Sawyer and Tammy were great and Sawyer particularly went out of his was to help, sorting our bags out and even giving us a lift to the Prince & Pauper when we stayed in the bar a little too long! And of course anyone who went to Live Aid is good with us Heather

Liked: It was very cozy and the staff was so welcoming and so friendly. I felt like I had known Heather for a very long time. She’s a great person.
Disliked: There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like.

Liked: The breakfast and dinner were delicious and generous.
Disliked: A second floor room instead of the third. More comfortable shared spaces.

Liked: Breakfasts were well prepared and enjoyable. A super little place, very homely and comfortable.
Disliked: More choice for breakfast would be good especially for those that don't always require a cooked breakfast. The toast was different! Didn't seem like regular toast. We would have liked to have spent a little more time in the bar during our stay but limited access both due to it not being open and when it is open often very full.
