Pretty building in a peaceful...

Liked: Very friendly and helpful staff making us feel welcome. Comfortable and very clean accommodation
Disliked: The advertised wi-fi was virtually nonexistent in the bedrooms and only a reasonably strong signal in the reception area.Food and beverage very disappointing. Supposed to be a 2 rosette restaurant showing an haute cuisine sample menu on their website but in reality offering a pub style menu which bore no resemblance to what was advertised, had there been other choices nearby we would have cancelled our dinner reservation.

Luxurious stay, with service to...

Liked: We stayed for one night DBB. The restaurant was good, the service exemplary, the food good and the wine excellent.A superb breakfast in the morning, again with excellent service.The room was luxurious with a large roll-top bath, and a shower in the ensuite.We could not fault any aspect of this delightful hotel.
Disliked: It was too windy to explore the extensive grounds.
