Lovely staff, banging breakfast, decent...

Liked: I picked this hotel to stay in purely because of its location and seaside view. I opted for a balcony room and wasn’t disappointed with the view. The hotel itself is quite old and the rooms definitely show the age, apart from the modern bathroom I don’t think the rooms have been decorated since it was built in the 70s, however it does add ‘Character’ and wouldn’t put me off visiting again.

Disliked: Dated, uncomfortable beds and pillows.Couldn't sleep.We got into our room, and the 1st thing we wanted was tea. To our amazement, the cup was cracked from top to bottom, and the other was chipped. How can this go unnoticed. When reported to the desk, we didn't even get an apology. The next thing we noticed was the patio doors leading to the balcony. The windows were filthy inside and out. For the price we paid, this wasn't acceptable. The 2nd night, they hired the venue for a party. Even though we were on the 4th floor, the live band kept us up.Terrible

Amazing. Brilliant room, facilities, staff...

Liked: Wow! what a lovely room, 7th floor, amazing sea view and plenty of space. The welcome from Carly was delightful. We had drinks in the hotel and dinner which was delicious! The breakfast had plenty of choice, fresh croissants, yoghurt, fruit, granola, full English, lovely coffee....so much on offer. Location was excellent being a stone's throw away from the beach and centre.

Liked: Was a fantastic weekend away. With the added bonus of being upgraded to a sea view-which was a lovely surprise. Staff were friendly, room was clean and the food was very nice. Was well worth the money. Will definitely be back. Thank you x

Lovely hotel with great staff

Liked: Really good breakfast choices from traditional cooked items to continental selection, pastries, cereals, cold meats, toast etc.Easy parking in H areas in street on purchase of parking permit - reasonable charge too
Disliked: Can't think of anything

Liked: Staff at breakfast
Disliked: Function music travelling through the building until very late. Staff response indifferent to how this disturbed sleep.

Very good
