Valentines surprize

Liked: Staff and generally all good visit
Disliked: Room was just a little tired and needed some maintenance

Comfy room, nice food, friendly...

Liked: Lovely comfy bed, spacious and clean room, friendly staff, nice food, even provided bowl and blanket for my dog, good location. I would certainly stay again.
Disliked: Wasn't able to get an answer on the internal phone so had to walk to the restaurant to order room service. This happened both nights. But this was the only niggle.

Disliked: Uncomfortable beds, torn carpet, stained & scratched furniture. Walls very thin, I could hear everything in the room next door.My room was not to the same standard or look as the ones in the images on Booking.com, instead very basic.

Comfortable and welcoming stay

Liked: The staff were pleasant and professional. The room was cosy and the shower was fine. My dinner was good, and good value, and breakfast was also very good.The downstairs areas have the feel of a pleasant country pub.
Disliked: It took some time for the shower to warm - but the staff warned me about that!

Liked: Location good, breakfast not fantastic and quite expensive.

Disliked: No electric, TV didn’t work, rushed discussion around restaurant. Appalling.
