Pleasant enough for the price.

Disliked: The pillows were not comfortable and the throw on the bed was dirty.

Thoughtful provision of earplugs if needed (Wife snoring more of a problem) . Room serviced daily with tea/coffee topped up . Ample breakfast cooked to order .Friendly, helpful staff. Felt overjoyed when my stay...
Liked: The location is excellent for walking around Chichester and also for public transport links nearby.
Disliked: The staff were rather rude and treated me like they regarded me as a 'loser' for holidaying alone. I just only hope none of them are ever in my situation. They made me feel very uncomfortable for being there alone. The cooked breakfast took way too long (20+ minutes) to arrive. Then there was no apology and the member of staff then made me feel like I was being difficult by politely asking for my coffee to be reheated. The music played in the dining area was bland sub-Ed Sheeran pop, played not just at an intrusive volume, but at an invasive level. And don't even get me started on the inappropriateness of there being a night club underneath a floor of hotel rooms, with seemingly unfettered access to the bedrooms. This hotel quite possibly serves a certain purpose for the more over-sponsored students at Chichester (Somehow Now A) University with one thing in mind, if you know where I am coming from. So the place has a downmarket seedy feel to it, and I feel embarrassed to say I stayed there. It wouldn't be so bad but it bills itself as 3 star. At least 1, maybe even 2, too many. The hotel seemed to be run by Gen Z people for Gen Z people. That is not meant to sound altogether ageist, but the staff there came across as ageist against their older midweek clientele they seem to be very reluctantly serving. Might as well put up.a sign at the front saying "Strictly No Admittance For Anyone Born Before Easter 1998". Which would be understandable if it was already 2095 and not 2025.
