An excellent venue for a...

Liked: Location was excellent. A 2 min walk to the town centre. The room was large and comfortable with good tea and coffee facilities. Nice bathroom. Excellent breakfast. All staff were pleasant and accommodating.
Disliked: The bar noise travelled to the rooms ( it was karaoke night) but was not too intrusive and we had had been forewarned.

Liked: The location.It has its quirks like all hotels do but ultimately well worth recommending.The staff… excellent.
Disliked: I’ve stayed in a great many hotels, at home and abroad and I can say with confidence that the guest Wi-Fi is, by a country mile, the worst I’ve ever experienced.

Liked: The room was nice and clean but cold.
Disliked: The music was too loud and difficult to sleep, it was on until 3 in the morning.Breakfast wasn't good, coffee and tea were missing, I won't come back, sorry.....

Liked: Excellent location and full English breakfast. Well looked by Annie on arrival and at breakfast.

Friendly pub and hotel in...

Liked: Excellent breakfast, free parking, good location, lovely staff. We deliberately booked mid week to avoid the weekend when the pub has a licence to 3 am and it’s very noisy. Nice and quiet on a Tuesday and Wednesday night.
Disliked: No central heating so a bit chilly in the breakfast area, although our room had an electric heater which was pretty efficient at warming the room up. TV was a bit temperamental

Great location not good customer...

Liked: Great location for shopping
Disliked: To noisy and staff not great at customer service paid £335.00 and wasn’t included with free glass of Christmas wine. Not that much of issue but good customer service and all that. Also one of guests went to ask what time music finished as their room was. Very loud and was told whatever deal with it should have read small print. Won’t be visiting again.
