Exceptional

Liked: Really nice and cozy. Great hosts, great location. They also had NFL red zone on the TVs which was really nice for a Sunday evening in!

Great location. Otherwise, loud and...

Liked: The location is great.
Disliked: There is near zero sound isolation between rooms in all directions. If you stay here, stay on the second floor; as someone who stayed on the first, it sounded like a granite-heeled orc was staying above us. The door kept slamming to go outside, the orc was stomping around (just walking normally, I’m sure)…it was a loud night. The food in the morning lacked serving utensils. The bathroom sink was spraying water because the sediment filter hadn’t been cleaned enough. Such an easy fix that no one had cared to fix in months/years—This little thing was an example of our stay: they just don’t care enough.

We are expecting a little...

Liked: Nice decoration of the entire facilities.Fresh ingredients for breakfast.
Disliked: The room, which was rented to us was too small. The light in the room was not appropriate for reading. Bathroom was not comfortable.Service in the facilities minimal.

Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Close to town, but disappointing...

Liked: Great location, just one block walk to town.
Disliked: The ‘Joni’ room faced the street, very noisy with traffic all night. Although cute, the thrift shop decor wasn’t user friendly, ie nightstand/lamp. No television in the room or common areas. Tattered bath towels, very disappointing. Breakfast only available for one hour in the morning.

the inn is not welcoming...

Liked: The breakfast was satisfactory. there was fresh fruit, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, coffee, granola, yogurt, and various toppings, fresh baked goods like coffeecake and mini muffins. The location was good. It was a short walk to town.Parking was sufficient.
Disliked: the bed sheets were old, thin and frayed and had holes. Told the innkeeper the next morning and her response was Thank you for telling me but the sheets were not replaced for our second night stay. The locks on the doors did not provide good security.the shower did not have a grab bar which is important to seniors. The sink faucet was wobbly and the sink did not drain properly. the stairs are steep and the hand rail is not sturdy. We had a 2 night stay and did not receive clean towels or have the garbage pail emptied. No tv in our room or in the common area.

Beautiful place! Loved that we...

Liked: Loved the location of this property! We were able to walk everywhere in Woodstock. Also loved the look and feel of the property too and we really enjoyed breakfast!
Disliked: I can't think of anything we didn't like.

lovely location and bedroom

Liked: I liked the availability of a sound machine to improve nighttime sleeping
Disliked: 1. Would have liked a stool to get into the bed .2.Would have liked more charging options near the table next to the bed. I have to plug in my hearing aid, my applewatch, iphone and computer.3.A little fold up table near the chairs would have been helpful so as not to have to hold the computer on one's lap.
