the inn is not welcoming...
Liked: The breakfast was satisfactory. there was fresh fruit, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, coffee, granola, yogurt, and various toppings, fresh baked goods like coffeecake and mini muffins. The location was good. It was a short walk to town.Parking was sufficient.
Disliked: the bed sheets were old, thin and frayed and had holes. Told the innkeeper the next morning and her response was Thank you for telling me but the sheets were not replaced for our second night stay. The locks on the doors did not provide good security.the shower did not have a grab bar which is important to seniors. The sink faucet was wobbly and the sink did not drain properly. the stairs are steep and the hand rail is not sturdy. We had a 2 night stay and did not receive clean towels or have the garbage pail emptied. No tv in our room or in the common area.

Beautiful place! Loved that we...
Liked: Loved the location of this property! We were able to walk everywhere in Woodstock. Also loved the look and feel of the property too and we really enjoyed breakfast!
Disliked: I can't think of anything we didn't like.

lovely location and bedroom
Liked: I liked the availability of a sound machine to improve nighttime sleeping
Disliked: 1. Would have liked a stool to get into the bed .2.Would have liked more charging options near the table next to the bed. I have to plug in my hearing aid, my applewatch, iphone and computer.3.A little fold up table near the chairs would have been helpful so as not to have to hold the computer on one's lap.

Great stay I would book...
Liked: The location and the easy check in. Room was old school but extremely clean and the bedding was great!
Disliked: The included breakfast was a bit of a let down but it is mainly due to personal preferences. They were plenty of option including yoghurts, fruits and homemade porridge which looked great. We were hoping to have a pancake as an option with local maple syrup. At the end we had one piece of toast and tea/coffee which was great.Protein wise, I personally couldn’t eat the hard boiled eggs due to the greyish yolk discolouration. I know it is safe for consumption but it’s not appetising. I would recommend to cool down the eggs directly after cooking them (with ice path or cold tap water) it would stop any residual heat and avoid the discolouration of the yolk.

Cute and comfortable place near...
Liked: A very cute little Bnb. The bed was super comfortable and the location was ideal for exploring town or heading out for hikes/outdoor adventures. I loved the style and decor.
Disliked: The walls are thin so you can really hear everything across the building although with some earplugs I slept great, so it's not a big concern but worth noting. The breakfast was disappointing though, options were very basic (fruit, yogurt, oatmeal) and it was only served from 8-9am. Considering the price, I was expecting something a little more elaborate, or I would have been happy to pay less and not have breakfast included.

We hope to stay at...
Liked: We loved our stay at The Vesper! The house is beautifully decorated and very warm and inviting. The location is perfect for exploring the town. And the breakfast was fresh, plentiful and delicious! Jessica was very sweet and we enjoyed getting to learn a little history of The Vesper and Woodstock. We would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back again!

disappointing and not cheap -...
Liked: location is perfect. and the town is really pretty especially at this time of year.
Disliked: No facility for making a cup of tea except at breakfast. Would have been happy to provide our own tea but there wasn't access to a kettle either in the room or in the shared breakfast room. No TV in the accommodation either in rooms or in shared areas and it was suggested if we were bored we should go to the Woodstock Inn where they have games etc available.
