Had a wonderful time, but...

Liked: THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT CHECK IN, HE WAS AMAZING, EXPLAINED EVERYTHING PERFECTLY, ASSITED ME TO THE ELEVATOR AND PROVIDED ME FAST ROOM SERVICE! HE MADE MY EXPERIENCE AMAZING!
Disliked: THE BAR...AND STAFF OF BAR AT DINNER TIME . I DIDNT FEEL APPRECIATED AND THEY DIDNT HAVE ANYTHING I LIKED, AND THEY WERE VERY DRY AND DIDNT TAKE THE TIME TO TALK AND SUGGEST A DRINK THAT I MIGHT ENJOY. HE JUST TOOK MY MENUE AWAY. SO I WENT TO A MEXICAN BAR, CALLED ALERO DOWN THE STREET INSTEAD, THEY HAD BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE, MORE ENGAGING, HELPFUL IN FINDING A DRINK THAT I WOULD ENJOY. MADE AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE.

Good location and way overpriced...

Liked: The complimentary breakfast sucked! Had better at cheap motels.
Disliked: LOUD HVAC. Hallways cold. Had to use a freight elevator to get around the 10 step stairway. Clerks in blue jeans. Out of coffee.

Liked: I loved everything about The Ven, especially the staff! I initially booked a three-night stay but ended up extending it to two weeks. The location is perfect, nestled among beautiful embassy buildings and just a five-minute walk from the Dupont Circle metro station.Front Office Manager Julie was incredible—she truly made me feel at home and well cared for. Jin and Ryan at the front desk were also exceptionally helpful. Having stayed at hotels around the world, I can confidently say I have never encountered such a friendly and welcoming staff.My room was fantastic—spotlessly clean, with a lovely street view. The Ven truly became my home away from home, and I will always stay there whenever I visit DC!
