Lovely break away in The...

Liked: Our first time to stay at The Twelve despite being a regular visitor to Galway. More than happy with our short break at The Twelve. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout. The bar was lively for a Monday night and we enjoyed our time there. We didn't have dinner in the hotel but the breakfast was lovely. Bearna has a number of lovely restaurants and Donnelly's pub make The Twelve an ideal location to base yourself for a break with Galway city and Connemara right on your doorstep. A really enjoyable stay and we will undoubtedly be back again.

Nice but wouldn’t stay again

Liked: Hotel is nice, beds were unbelievably comfortable.
Disliked: Rooms have tiny hallways outside them so if another family is going into their room you will hear them very loudly. Wooden floor in this hallway doesn’t help, probably makes it echo even more. The food was fine but not at all what I was expecting for the price!!! My god, very mediocre. Wouldn’t stay again solely for this reason, the noise you can get over because at the end of the day there are other guests. But the food was pretty normal and with those prices I was expecting much better quality.
