Excellent stay wish it had...

Liked: Breakfast was excellent I ordered a vegetarian and it was fresh hot and tasty, my husband said that his meat one was of best quality. Location was very good.
Disliked: Nothing

Exceptional

A little bit of luxury...

Liked: We were attending a rugby match and then a Burns Supper in the town, the venues for which were located within 2 minutes walking distance from the hotel. It is right in the centre of Melrose so ideal for all the town’s wealth of attractions. Breakfast in the morning was excellent. Gerry compote and yoghurt was delicious. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The facilities in the “family room” which we were staying in were excellent.

Liked: Location, 4 beds in one room for a young family, great bathroom. Good breakfast.

Liked: The allocated bedroom was far too small for 2 people. Fortunately, after the first night, we were kindly moved to a superior room without an upgrade charge, which we very much appreciated- thank you!
Disliked: Room 9 -cramped and cold. Steps in bathroom would make it unsuitable for some.

A wonderful experience

Liked: Wonderful room, clean and spacious, great staff who were all gentle and professional.Had dinner in their restaurant again lovely efficient staff, and amazing food.Breakfast was delicious and a good choice.I would highly recommend.
Disliked: Parking could possibly be a problem in high season but we managed to get a space right outside the front door.
