Disappointing room. Fantastic staff.

Liked: The staff were very welcoming and super helpful. I messaged ahead to point out we were visiting for a special occasion and were delighted with a complimentary bottle of wine and desert in the room. Very nice touch.
Disliked: Bathroom sink had a huge crack and overall was very tired. Air conditioning didn't work and heated the room rather than cooled it. After a long day out we came back to an oven and couldn't open the windows enough to let the heat up. Spent an hour with the room door open saying hello to random strangers. I may have some new life long friends.

Stunning location needs major update

Liked: View from the room was spectacular and worth paying extra for.One of the best views from a hotel I have seen.
Disliked: The hotel decor and lighting is tired. Rooms need to be refubished.The chairs in the breakfast dining area are badly stained and need replacing.

Disliked: My bathroom sink was installed other way round which means my hands kept on touching the sink when I was washing them. The tap in the bathroom was not working well so it would leak when the shower connector would be turned on.Otherwise no other issues

Liked: Location very good. First room was large with a king size bed, good storage for clothes etc & a good view of Tower Bridge.
Disliked: Kettle didn't work properly & toilet was blocked. Reported these immediately but nothing done to remedy this. Room wasn't serviced so had no water, tea or coffee. Unable to control the air conditioning system which made the room too warm & stuffy. Ended up being 'upgraded'. The room & bed were smaller. Air con still uncontrollable. The 'upgrade' appeared to be a closer view of Tower Bridge!

Disliked: The bathroom was in need of redoing. The floor had clearly been repaired many times, and you could feel it moving when walking on it, the bath panel was damaged all across the bottom.
