Liked: Good location, nice surrounding, the building is old and charming and the breakfast room is beautiful. Breakfast was very good and so was the service. Very nice staff.
Disliked: The bed was not comfortable and the decor a bit worn… but still a good value for money.

Liked: Very comfortable room with a view of the river and well-appointed bathroom. Attractive, peaceful dining room and lounge area. Imaginative menu, plenty of choice at both breakfast and dinner, and everything well cooked and extremely tasty. Nice to see young staff running the hotel with enthusiasm and efficiency. All were very personable, welcoming and helpful. A thoroughly enjoyable and relaxed stay.

Great stay in old property....

Liked: The bed in this room was 'massive! we were in room 12 situated at the front of the building. The hotel is very old and quaint.
Disliked: Lots stairs could be a problem for older clientele. (one elderly gent was being helped down the stairs by staff as no lift)
