Swanky design; perfect location. Overall great hotel choice. No regrets.

Disliked: One elevator was down so it took forever to get up or down.

Great place close to broadway...

Liked: Right close the the broadway show we were attending.
Disliked: The only thing I didn’t like was that they did not have a menu price list for the bar/snack items right there at the room. I had to go ask at the front desk for the menu price. Super expensive by the way but at least I would knew the price before opening anything.

Good Location, Short Stay

Liked: The location was perfect if the reason for your NYC visit was for the theatre shows. It’s so close to so many of them. Also, the staff at the door were absolutely helpful and respectful. Anytime we needed something sent up to the room, they were on it. The staff up front was not exactly friendly.
Disliked: The pictures of the rooms are extremely misleading. The room was absolutely tiny, shoved in the corner, with the view of a brick wall. They clearly put photos of their biggest rooms on the site, as well as using the 0.5 on the camera to make everything appear wider, bigger. Why were there two chairs in a room that was about 5x5? There were no places to hang anything in the bathroom. The bar glasses were filthy, we had to wash them ourselves before using them. Also, the mini fridge was so full, we had no room to put our own beverages in there. Who doesn’t have a smart tv? What was the purpose of the beautiful setup of having a tv in the mirror, if it’s the oldest tv. We couldn’t even set it up to play music, it was mostly static.

Pleasant

Very good

Liked: Location was great! Convenient to lots of attractions and subway stations. Bed was super comfy. A good restaurant downstairs offered a 20% discount to hotel guests. The 5 p.m. free wine and cheese was especially nice!
Disliked: Our room was very loud. Windows were thin and lots of outside noise throughout the night.

Everyone was very friendly and...

Disliked: The bathroom mirror did not have a light for shaving or makeup

Dirty

Liked: Wasn’t cleaned properly, found trash on the floor (used wood utensil) of the room, dust everywhere. Bathroom was full of hair and soap scum, disgusting. Pictures are old, it is super worn down, scratches, chipped paint. Ground floor hotel restroom was dirtier than Chipotle’s. Had to pay extra for keeping second bag of luggage per person - super strange for a 4 star hotel.Only good things were the location and the friendly staff at the counter.
