Will not stay there again.

Liked: Room was ok, clean. Location was pretty close to everything.
Disliked: Had to get hot water fixed in the shower as it wasn't working. Staff should know better not give "sex room" in the middle of the night next to some other occupied rooms, especially if they have empty rooms elswhere. Walls are way too thin.

ABYSMAL HOSPITALITY - INCORRECTLY CHARGED...

Liked: The location is nice since it’s downtown Brooklyn - walking distance to City Point/Dekalb Market. The aesthetics of the room and hotel are nice but not sure it makes up for the terrible customer service
Disliked: The woman receptionist was EXTREMELY rude. I regret not getting her name but she is an older black woman who was wearing a black mask. Upon arrival, she did not greet my boyfriend and I with a friendly greeting - no good evening or even a hello. After telling her our name, she said “your balance is $400” and made it seem like this was the security deposit. While I thought it was high, I just gave her a card accepting that was the policy. She then gave us a room key without saying anything. We wen to the room and it was FILTHY. Garbage greeted us at the door and the bed was completely unmade. I would also like to note that there was cleaning staff all along the 6th floor which shows that the rooms are not cleaned in a timely manner - we checked in at 5/6pm and check in time is 3pm so I don’t see why the rooms wouldn’t be clean at that time. We went downstairs where another man who was much friendlier helped us get a new room. We also inquired about the $400 deposit to which he said that was completely incorrect and it is $250, not $400; he thankfully reversed the charge. The rude, disgusting woman gave us the side eye while we were speaking with the guy who we assume to be her superior and she apologized to HIM for making the mistake saying that she thought we hadn’t paid for the room ?? Which doesn’t even make sense. She then gave us an apology that we knew was not genuine. I regret not bringing up her rudeness to her superior in the moment but she should not be working there with her nasty attitude. We were grateful for the man helping us get resettled and appreciated his much friendlier candor.

Disliked: It was not cleaned properly and had zero amenities in the room properly filled. Only the bed was properly made.
