Housekeeping ❌ - Restaurant Staff/Food...

Liked: The restaurant staff were lovely and the food was absolutely amazing. Good sized room and comfy bed. Breakfast was lovely (photo of breakfast menu as I couldn't find one online anywhere)
Disliked: The room was nice, but unfortunately nothing had been stocked up (tea tray, fresh milk, toiletries) I went down 3 times to ask for things, and the lady was very apologetic, but no one offered to restock everything. The room was freezing when we arrived and took a while to heat up. The heating had also gone off when we arrived after going out in the evening (we arrived back about 10pm & had been out in -3°) The internet wouldn't connect at all. There is only a very small information card on the back of the door, a booklet with all the information would have been a nice idea. (For the door code, how to contact someone during the night etc) The fire escape light in the room is ridiculously bright. I know this is a safety thing and probably can't be rectified, but I had a very disturbed night's sleep due to the room being so lit up. The room was also quite dusty. To say we were the only guests, the room should have been given extra attention. (There were even 2 pinecones under the bed) I can't fault the restaurant staff or the food at all. The housekeeping just lets it down quite a bit. It was a birthday night away, and these points put a dampener on the stay.

Liked: Excellent food, warm welcome and great staff .
Disliked: Our bedroom had a large green light in it for the fire exit . It was completely over the top for it's purpose and lit up the whole room once the lights were off.I'm not sure this is is in every room. Our one was with a balcony and was very nice but this green light made it very hard to sleep . A shame as otherwise a brilliant place .

Liked: Everything, 2nd time here and won't be the last! The staff are lovely especially the Norwegian guy that does the breakfast with his little dog, faultless!We will be back soon. Food 5* accommodation 5*.

Liked: We had a fab night, such friendly staff, the rooms are quirky but spotlessly clean with a giant bath and lovely toiletries , the bed was very comfy, loved our stay
