Perfect overnight stay
Liked: Location perfect. Lovely town. Hotel staff very polite and friendly. Room a little tired but was ok for what we wanted and didn't effect our stay. Lovely outside seating area. Would return

Everything was really great.
Liked: Very helpful staff - let us leave our bicycles in a secure location by the Reception desk. Thank you! A great location, lovely room, fabulous breakfast. I shouldn't admit to this - but I was too full to eat your home-made granola bar, so I took one with me, and ate it later, and it was honestly the most delicious thing I've eaten in a very long time! I'd love the recipe please! It was also great that the rooms were very quiet. Thank you for a wonderful stay. My son enjoyed it too.
Disliked: Everything was great.

Excellent and very successful upmarket...
Liked: We loved the location - right in the heart of town yet within a courtyard so you don’t get any street noise. It’s also surrounded by nearby parks so excellent for dog owners. The room itself was very spacious, although not ideally set up if you need to work at a computer. We were also insulated from any noise from the busy pub restaurant and function rooms. Breakfast was very good and dinner excellent at the price point.
Disliked: It’s a pub with outbuildings redeveloped into rooms and function areas - this wasn’t quite what we’d expected and it meant a walk outside to get to reception. The reception wasn’t reliably manned as it would be in a hotel and the bar closed promptly with no exception for residents. (We were sent out to explore the town - every other pub was still open). Apart from not knowing we were booking in a very busy pub with rooms and not a hotel we had no complaints.
