Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Thompson Hotel. Everything was clean. Hotel was a short walk to the concert venue and restaurants. Great stay. Will go back for sure.

Stayed at this hotel because we were going to a concert at the Sandman Centre. Not a bad place for the price. When trucks go by they make your bed vibrate which is kinda funny. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. The staff were friendly but you had to get their attention first. We requested early entrance for breakfast (5 minutes) as my boyfriend had to leave for work at 6:30 when it was supposed to open. We knocked on the door and no one was inside. He left with no breakfast. Later the desk clerk told me I should have come to the front counter and they would have let us in. You have to pay for parking and there is no sign telling you there is an alley entrance and I nearly ripped my boat rack off. Overall, for the price we paid it wasn't bad.

Liked: The hotel is very clean and the staff were friendly but you had to get their attention first. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was spotless.
Disliked: The breakfast didn't open at 6:30 and my boyfriend had to leave at 6:30 and thought he could grab a pastry or toast to eat on the way to work. Had to pay for parking and took my vehicle under the overhang and almost ripped my boat rack off. There should be a sign letting you know there is an alley entrance.

Wasn't at the hotel very much but was nice and the staff was friendly. Would recommend this to others.

Liked: Everything. Great location, clean room, friendly staff.The only thing I would highlight is, ask if there’s a party that day. The kids were sooo excited about the pool but with a kid party going on it was really crowded, barely no space at the pool. Besides that, everything great!! Highly recommend!!

Liked: Great Hotel, swimming pool, hot tub in downtown close to all cool restaurants and coffee shops.

The kids had fun but...

Liked: Breakfast was very small portions but tasty. The arcade was fun and the restaurant next door was good.
Disliked: It was the noisiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in so didn’t get a great sleep.

Clean, quiet and kind!

Liked: Rooms were clean and quiet. The big winners were the pool/arcade and the staff! It doesn't hurt that there are two really good restaurants open later in the night attached to the hotel. (Both kid friendly!)In addition, it's just a short walk to restaurants, shopping, and a large park by the river. Absolutely great place to stay in Kamloops!
Disliked: We did have a little bit of a noisy fridge, but that didn't bother us much. Not even enough to ask the front desk about. (They probably would have immediately helped us if it was an issue!)

Adequate accommodation for a medical...

Liked: Friendly staff, efficient check in and out. Location to hospital great. Noble Pig restaurant was very good.
Disliked: Cleanliness could be better, notwithstanding renovations. WIFI was iffy which was frustrating.

Amazing

Liked: Our stay was incredible showed up early. They allowed us to check in right away. Staff was incredibly friendly for the two nights we were there. Rooms are clean. Beds were comfortable AC and heat Mountain View warm swimming pool real nice Jacuzzi handicap parking and my car was safe. I highly recommend staying in this hotel if you’re in the downtown Kamloops area.
