Liked: We loved how different it was to a normal hotel room. The building is absolutely beautiful with stunning finishing touches
Disliked: It was understaffed but it didn’t worry us too much

Do not stay here ever!...

Liked: Absolutely nothing, this was a nightmare stay from start to finish. We had issues checking in, cockroaches during stay and no apology or cancellation - money back when we couldn’t stay there because of the pest issue even we showed images to the team on site.
Disliked: We had cockroaches in our room, we showed imagery to the team member first thing in the morning who got jumped scared. He said he understands that we cannot stay there and offered us a cancellation and refund of our stay. We were verbally guaranteed this is all on hand and no need to do anything on our side :) which obviously wasn’t the case! We chased the property multiple times and they said ‘we don’t have any notes in the booking and we now need to start an investigation.’ We called booking.com and they said they will contact the property. We were on a holiday and couldn’t relax because we needed to deal with this scenario, we had about £400 in this property which we left after one night! The manager, blocked my friends number because he ‘refused to speak to us as there isn’t anything he can do and they do not have cockroaches’ ok - we showed him the pictures (by email) which he never replied. Simon, if you are reading this - this is absolutely appalling from your side, we chose your hotel because me and my friend like to support independent hotels / bars, but WOW we were wrong. Your attitude against us is just so incredible rude and you should be ashamed to be even running this venue. This whole scenario blows my mind as it wasn’t a big deal, we just wanted our money back and leave - instead you decided to ruin our whole holiday by us needing calling and emailing you all week. Hope this property closes down soon as it’s a scam and please please please - do not spend your money here, it really isn’t worth it.

Disliked: It was really hot, and the air-conditioning really could not cope with the warm nights. To be fair we did stay in January. The lightning in the bathroom was far tk dimity to apply makeup, and no mirrors on the main room (inside the wardrobe would be a great place for a mirror).

Went to see Fringe shows...

Liked: Perfect location
Disliked: Huge bathroom but not great lighting. Limited breakfast menu, could have done with better choices.
