Disliked: It was a little expensive per night but it was worth the location

Lesson learned.

Disliked: The special Valentine's I had planned for the love of my life turned out to be a big mistake on my part for booking with the terrace. Made reservations for 9pm, we were seated at 9:10 and after ordering from the three set entras . An hour later were informed they did not have what we ordered. Had to chose from the remaining two. We were served our entras at 11:05pm. 5 mins later we were served dessert, of which we asked that the dessert be sent to our room. We were told that they would gladly do that. That did not happen. As we attempted to make the best of a bad situation, which was not possible as the staff began to break down the tables and do what ever they needed to do before going home, with no regard for the remaining couples attempted to eat there dinner, being rushed was uncomfortable to say the least. We never received any request for room service, and our desert were never delivered. The special Valentine's Day will have to 2026 at a more appropriate establishment. 2025 was a huge disappointment and over $900.00 charged would have been better given to the Talbot house.

This was the perfect place...

Liked: Love how this hotel is in the heart of downtown. We were able to walk to breakfast & even stumbled upon the vendor/farmers market they have every Saturday. We can’t wait to be back someday!
Disliked: The elevators are quite small, but it IS a historical hotel! This wasn’t an issue for us.
