A faultless stay!

Liked: The rooms are incredible comfortable and with the most effective black out blinds ever! Oversleeping is a big danger! Location is perfect. Staff were wonderful.
Disliked: Nothing.

We found the staff very...

Liked: Breakfast was good with plenty of variety. Service staff were attentive.
Disliked: Pillows were too high for our comfort. Maybe spare pillows in wardrobe. We found our room very noisy due to car traffic and pedestrian noise. Noticed that room didn't have soundproofing glass cavity. We were offered another room (with sound proofing glass) enjoyed a much better experience.

Great place to stay

Liked: Beautiful hotel, great facilities and location. Lovely old building and I liked the decor, old world but modern. Phenomenal buffet breakfast, best I've ever had. The staff were lovely and attentive.
Disliked: Rooms on level 1 are street level and people outside can see in, so I had to keep the blinds closed all the time which I found quite frustrating. I am surprised they hadn't found a solution like window frosting (just partial would be sufficient so you can still see out). The hotel is connected to a bar, the hipsters working there were a bit unwelcoming and rude when I walked in but they weren't open, lock the door or use signage then, maybe? There is another lounge that was closed in the evenings, I wish it had stayed open, it would have been nice to have somewhere to sit in the hotel in the evening s.
