Classic nice, clean 60s style...

Liked: Great place to stay if you're driving from SF like I did—Burbank is at the north end of LA so saves about an hour of driving. Check in was smooth and the front desk attendant was very friendly. There is always someone at the desk, 24 hrs a day. Parking was easy—there are only 4 spaces and 1 handicapped space in the lot, but there somehow was always room for me. The breakfast pastries in the morning from 8 to 11 am were fresh and delicious—croissants, cookies, danishes, etc. Nice to take a pastry and coffee out to the pool in the morning. The room was large and clean. They upgraded me for free, which was great. There's a large closet and dresser, and even a deep bathtub. Very relaxing. The hotel is right next to a lively Mexican restaurant where you can get a delicious margarita and chill out. Definitely recommend for a short stay!

Liked: Lots of parking, staff was really nice a friendly, pool is heated and very clean. The coffee machine in the lobby has great drinks. Lots of near by restaurants and less than 10 minute drive to universal studios, I would 100% stay here again.
