Great stay at the Tangerine

Liked: Fantastic customer service. Breakfast pastries were sooo good! Location was safe and well situated to Warner Brothers Studio and Universal Studios. Coffee machine in the lobby has lots of yummy options. Rooms are decorated so originally.
Disliked: Older building so could hear luggage coming down the stairs. Our room was under the stairs so it was quite loud. Other rooms probably are fine. .

Great location, great staff, convenient...

Liked: I was there for 9 days.The staff were beyond great! I was alone and they had 24/7 staffing. Felt very safe.Coffee machine in lobby was to die for. I did not know there were that many different kinds of coffee.Good selection of baked goods for breakfast and other restaurants close by if needed. The original Bob’s Big Boy is just a quick walk down the street.Great neighborhoods to walk in.Very convenient to supermarket about a 10 minute walk away.
Disliked: The bed was a little too hard for me but I made do.Mostly quiet but sometimes got noisy if people checked in late at night.

Liked: - lovely staff- good free parking - free pastries in morning - felt safe - all the necessary amenities
Disliked: Rooms look a little dated on first impression but the positive experience makes up for this instantly. Also a little pricey but so is everything else in the area! Overall the positives very much outweigh the tiny negatives!

Very happy with our stay...

Liked: Room was well equipped and kept very well. The free pastries in the morning were great to get you going before heading out for brunch. Nice area. Felt very safe. Nice and close Uber to Universal Studios which is why we based ourselves at this motel.

Perfect location, lots of diners...

Liked: Perfect location, clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. I loved the 24hr tea and coffee machine.
Disliked: The aircon was a bit noisy.

Liked: Small motel, located in a safe area 10 minutes drive from Universal Studios and ten minutes walk from Warner Bros. Studios. The room was a reasonable size with 2 queen size beds wide enough for four. A nice bonus is the hot drinks machine in the lobby which is available free of charge 24/7 as well as the high quality and varied sweet pastries that are waiting every morning for the guests to enjoy. It's not breakfast but allows you to start the morning in a pleasant way on a full stomach. There are few restauranrs around. The staff is charming and helpful as much as they can.
Disliked: The bathroom is small. The noise insulation is not good and you hear everything that happens outside. The hotel has a pool but it is very small.
