Excellent apart from checkout.

Liked: Excellent location, comfortable and clean throughout.
Disliked: On departure I was challenged with an outstanding bar bill. I had charged nothing to the room card, paid all accounts by debit card but found another guest had charged a bar bill to my room. How is this possible, had the bar staff not checked the individual card, it seemed my explanation was not accepted at first and another member of staff was called to ‘negotiate’. Uncomfortable and unnecessary as I had no outstanding bill!

Feeling like home.

Liked: It's a lovely hotel with nice restaurant and bar.
Disliked: Not very soundproof but understandably due to the building's age.

Excellent stay in Malton

Liked: Facilities in our deluxe room. Dyson hairdryers in rooms! Lovely staff. Meals excellent and catered well for g/f and dairy free.
Disliked: Service a bit slow but food worth waiting for.
