Great location but badly needs...

Liked: Great location and plenty of character
Disliked: Been there several times over the years but the rooms now feeling very dated bordering on a bit tatty. Carpets are heavily stained . Just needs sprucing up to be great again. (We stayed in the main building not the annex)

Liked: Very comfortable- great breakfast- friendly staff
Disliked: No water in the morning - a problem with the pumps apparently

Liked: Good location. Better pubs further down the road with better choices of larger.
Disliked: Room was cold. Poor choice of larger. Tried to charge me for the Car park that I didn’t use twice.

Disliked: I was given room 7 in the main hotel. The room was tiny and tired with no shower in the bathroom. It was also very noisy. The room beared no resemblance to the photos on booking.com. I did ask to be moved and the staff were very accommodating and changed my room.

Disliked: Lightbulb not working in bedroom so badly lit. slight damp smell in bathroom
