Comfortable and Cosy

Liked: The room was comfortable, the breakfast was good and Jude is an excellent host. For our 2 night stay it was an excellent location.

Exceptional

Liked: Lovely big room, nicely decorated, with a large ensuite. It was so comfortable and cosy.Easy check in with key box and on street parking right outside.

A great find, very comfortable...

Liked: Location was excellent for attending a wedding at the Hidden River Barn. We had a light lunch in the cafe before we went to the wedding (excellent) & a freshly cooked full English breakfast which was delicious. Although on the main road there was very little traffic at night & sleep was undisturbed. We were also able to check in early so that we could get ready for the wedding. They also suggested a great taxi firm for transport- ‘Glitter Taxi’.
Disliked: Nothing- it was ideal for us

Liked: Excellent breakfast comfy bed and nice big bath

A good stop over.

Liked: We needed a place on our way to Blackpool, this worked out well. Breakfast was quite good. The room was large.
Disliked: Unfortunately the coffee cups and clear glasses needed a good washing, so more attention to detail would go a long way.

Apart from above, we had...

Liked: Only a few miles from Gretna. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.
Disliked: Sadly the water comes out of the taps almost boiling, which is very annoying and dangerous. The shower head kept collapsing. The toilet seat was faulty. The Housekeeping was hit and miss. Returned to our room, to find that the bins had not been emptied and the towels not changed.
