A very pleasant stay

Liked: The Sycamore Inn is a great pub. Our evening meal was fantastic and well worth going out of the way for. Also, a good selection of beers, wines and drinks with very friendly and helpful staff. The room was a decent size and it was warm. The main double bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: Room lighting was OK but the bulb in the vanity and tea making area was out so I had to use my phone light to see what I was doing. The second bed was also not as good as the main double. The ceiling has quite a few cobwebs. Something that was very visible when lying in bed. These are things that could be easily improved. Then there's the shower in the bath which was awkward to use due to low beams. I'm 6' 7" (2m) tall and I couldn't stand up as my shoulder reached the beam. I appreciate that nothing could really be done to improve this, but my wife is 5' 4" and she struggled too!
