Liked: Lovely, quiet location. Very convenient for Bristol Airport.All the staff we encountered were excellent.Bedroom comfortable with modern en-suite.Hospitality tray had nice touches.Local area information in room.Food in pub restaurant was very good.Breakfast excellent.
Disliked: The pub, including the accommodation, is obviously very popular with dog owners. We like dogs, but we don't like them being allowed in all the bedrooms and we're also not keen on dogs being around you when eating in the restaurant.

Exceptional

Liked: Really comfy and cosy, great room - quiet and dark at night! Excellent coffee/tea making facilities in room. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere, good food. Nice little touches - welcome drink on arrival, and a takeaway coffee for our departure.
Disliked: Nothing not to like.

Watch out for the supplement...

Liked: I paid for the superior room which was nice and spacious and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly within the pub - restaurant during the evening.
Disliked: The location of this accommodation is rural and a car is needed to travel to nearest town, although this did not cause me any concerns, it may not be the liking of others.The superior rooms are like small bungalow's al attached and within the pub car park. I would imagine this could be very intimidating for a lone lady visiting, although again I had no problems during the stay, other than the noises from cars and pub.I booked this room which stated breakfast was included. Upon going for breakfast, when asked for the full breakfast, I had to pay a supplement of £4.00. I know its a small price however I felt that the establishment has spoilt the stay for me in charging this and not providing this information in any booking information prior.During the evening I sat in the restaurant on a table which clearly had no reserved status on. After ten minutes I was asked to leave that table as a local wanted to sit there any they visit the pub every Wednesday for the 20% discount on meals and sit in the same place. As there was no reserved info on the table I felt that the establishment were out of order however I did not want to cause a fuss so therefore changed table.Based upon the treatment within the restaurant, moving tables and the supplement fee for breakfast, I am sorry to say that I feel the company let me down as a customer and for that reason I would not return.I just hope that the read this and take it into consideration.

Liked: We loved our short stay at The Swan. The staff were incredibly friendly, the room was a good size with a lovely bathroom (plus great extras including iron, ironing board, sleep spray). We had a complimentary drink with dinner and breakfast was included. We'd love to stay again!

Liked: Great location, lovely village, comfy beds, super friendly and accommodating staff, tasty breakfast.Would like to have dinner next time round too
