Liked: Most things were good— overall food, room quality and staff service were all fine.
Disliked: 1.The price of a roast beef course was increased from £30 to £45. That is ridiculous.2. When asked for bread, cheap nasty white sliced bread was produced. Given the easy availability of a range of quality breads in Alreford, this too was unforgivable.

Disliked: Bar staff ignored us and gave the table away to someone who arrived after us and we were already at the table. Generally found them to be dismissive of us. Breckfast the pastries arrived as we were about to leave.Dust on the bedroom lampshade, we wrote hi on itThere was a car park available but parking was very snugThe hotel was old and the floor was bowed. The problem was the modern floor boards placed on top were sticking up creating trip hazards, approx 8 of them, between 8-10cm high sticking up
