A truly relaxing and comfortable...

Liked: The staff are extremely friendly and give you a warm welcome when you arrive. The hotel is very cosy and full of charm and character. The food is delicious, presented beautifully and the portions are a good size. The waiting staff are friendly and attentive. The hotel rooms are very pleasant and the beds are comfortable.

Great location, would of expected...

Liked: Great location in middle of Maldon, room very warm, sheets very crisp and clean, friendly staff, nice bar area serving lunch and dinner.
Disliked: Long hairs left on cushions on the bed ,room has internal glazing but could clearly hear traffic, hotel may have rooms towards the rear which would be less noisy. Shower head dribbled water out, and cleanliness needs attention in shower area, radiator, extractor fan full of dust, toilet seat moved when sat on!

Liked: Dinner choice was excellent and good value for money, Location is in the high street and good for travelling etc.
Disliked: The only thing I could fault was the shower, it's a tad small which is ok as it's enclosed but the water pressure is low so i had to move around a lot to get wet!

Liked: Fabulous location right in the centre of Maldon. Very clean and comfortable bedrooms.
