Henry, Maple Ridge, visiting Vogue Theatre Vancouver Mon, 27 March 2023

This hotel is one of the finest hotels in the city! Close to everything. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, literally with all the conveniences of home!

Liked: Pretty much everything! Upon our check in the front desk clerk (Ceasar) was very polite and upgraded our reservation to a suite at no extra cost to us. Special kudos to the doorman who gave us a lovely smile upon our arrival and made us feel very welcome..
Disliked: Nothing.

What a wonderful experience! When we arrived we were told they had to upgrade our room as there was not a 2 bed room available, so pleased and happy, we were upgraded to a magnificent suite. And the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, even going so far as to help me fix my costume for an event I was attending that evening. Thank you so very much for making my visit to Vancouver so memorable and beautiful.

Liked: Outstanding!

Very good

Liked: Super friendly staff (what else do you expect from Canadians.) Quick and easy check in/out. Decent view from the bedroom. Decent bang for your buck for Vancouver, within walking distance to public transport.

Five star rating, four star...

Liked: Location was good - conveniently located to several good areas, and walkable to many sights.
Disliked: The staff were appallingly rude and incompetent. The ‘manager’ I spoke to was terrible - dismissive, expecting me to provide about 35 synonyms while complaining, trying to deflect and just downplaying the attitude problem of his staff. They couldn’t follow simple requests like bring my luggage to reception rather than the room. The room was badly laid out, dated and cheaply furnished. It looked like a wayfair outlet sale. Hooks were hanging off, the sofa was horribly uncomfortable, the safe was in the top of the wardrobe so you couldn’t see in, just loads of bad design elements. The facilities were fine, just dated and not particularly clean. Constantly a line at front desk with staff seemingly struggling with every simple task. Basically, if a five star is priced with the three stars, the price is a better indication than the star rating.

A very relaxing stay which...

Liked: The room I had booked was not ready, I was offered a suite for approximately $50 more. I took this offer as it enabled me to get settled after my arrival in Vancouver early that morning. It was a good choice. The suite was exceptionally comfortable and allowed me to relax in comfort.I also took advantage of the pool and the cafe. The staff were extremely helpful.

Liked: Location, room was very comfortable and the amenities were great! Parking was very easy.
Disliked: I did not like the personal query from the front desk staff. I didn’t like the dual key cards for room and pool. I didn’t like the fact that children, even babies under 1 were in the jacuzzi & that alcohol was being drank in the jacuzzi
