Pretty outdated. Breakfast was average; elevator as we were going up decided to skip a beat and freak me out, thought I was going to crash.

Liked: Very spacious jacuzzi room.
Disliked: Outdated, and there was water dripping from the ceiling all night and all they did for us was give us $25 off. Wish we could have moved to another room as I didn't get any sleep with hearing that dripping all night.

We were in town to attend a concert at AMSOIL arena, so the hotel was very conveniently located. We knew when we booked that we would have an interior room with no windows but were still a bit surprised by how dark the room was. The lighting was poor and the walls were very thin. We heard our neighbor's alarm go off repeatedly and then his entire phone conversation. The room was fairly large but there was a very large pillar in the middle of it, near the corner of the bed. The room was clean but the decor was very dated. Breakfast was the standard pastries and DIY waffles - not very impressive considering the room cost and ratings. The happy hour at Timber Lodge was a nice touch, if you drink. Considering the number of hotels in Duluth, I'd recommend staying elsewhere.

Disliked: I told the front desk we noticed the room was not vacuumed as we stepped on cat nail. She apologized and gave a 50.00 discount, which is still not correct on my card. She said that room wasn't even supposed to be rented for a week while they deep cleaned after cats were in there and were not supposed to be that they don't allow cats at all and no pets in suits. Breakfast was also done at 930....WAY TOO EARLY!!
