Pretty outdated. Breakfast was average; elevator as we were going up decided to skip a beat and freak me out, thought I was going to crash.

Liked: Very spacious jacuzzi room.
Disliked: Outdated, and there was water dripping from the ceiling all night and all they did for us was give us $25 off. Wish we could have moved to another room as I didn't get any sleep with hearing that dripping all night.

We were in town to attend a concert at AMSOIL arena, so the hotel was very conveniently located. We knew when we booked that we would have an interior room with no windows but were still a bit surprised by how dark the room was. The lighting was poor and the walls were very thin. We heard our neighbor's alarm go off repeatedly and then his entire phone conversation. The room was fairly large but there was a very large pillar in the middle of it, near the corner of the bed. The room was clean but the decor was very dated. Breakfast was the standard pastries and DIY waffles - not very impressive considering the room cost and ratings. The happy hour at Timber Lodge was a nice touch, if you drink. Considering the number of hotels in Duluth, I'd recommend staying elsewhere.

Liked: Comfortable bed; convenient location.
Disliked: Dark room; no windows; very dated; very thin walls.

Liked: It was close to Bentleyville.
Disliked: The free breakfast wasn’t well stocked. Most of the breakfast items were gone 1/2 hour before it ended.

Liked: Location of the property was great!
Disliked: Walls are very thin, which is tough when you’re traveling with a child and has an earlier bedtime. Elevator key reader didn’t work the whole time we stayed. You just had to wait for someone to come down to get into the elevator, also decreases the safety of this feature! The breakfast was not great and juice machine tasted like it needed to be cleaned. Pool was delayed opening by 2 hours, so we could only swim for a little bit before we had to check out.

Liked: We usually stay at the suites. When we go with our friends, it’s nice that we can get a place with 2 bedrooms.
Disliked: Noticed that if you bring a dog, really no where to take them out to go to the bathroom.

Liked: The location is awesome
Disliked: The room keys suck, I had to get mine reprogrammed 4 times in the two days we where there, major pain in the ass

Liked: Food was good. Had alot of choices
Disliked: Room should have been stocked with supplies. Towels for kitchen. Dishes were found after leaving in the dishwasher that had a sign on it out of order. No soap shower or kitchen. No toilet paper

Exceptional

Liked: Absolutely beautiful! The rooms were amazing!
