Great room with great facilities...

Liked: Great 2 bed suite. Lots of room and facilities were great
Disliked: Being above the shops felt a little like a motel. Or staying in a shopping mall complex. We stayed here many years ago before it was rebuilt and it felt more authentic then - like a rustic fishing village. Feels more commercial now. But still great for what it is.

Liked: No bfast included. Ktch was equipped w/dishes, cooking utensils to be able to provision if staying an extended stay. But location central to most of Punta Gorda. We stayed on property, played cards and just enjoyed getting out of town for over night. Upon check out the desk manager recommended a local restaurant for breakfast that morning which was easy to find and had good food.
Disliked: Other than the elevator still being worked on, nothing. The restaurant at the north end of Fisherman's Village was disappointing compared to a day visit a few years ago, but not having spent a night there before, I was very surprised how nice the facilities were and the office workers. Even the housekeeping crew were very friendly and courteous.

We will probably stay there...

Disliked: The room we had reserved wasn’t going to be available. We were told that via email. The email said we would be charged the new room rate at check in. We weren’t. Had to tell the front desk to lower to the new rate.We had a lot of luggage. No where to park while unloading. The elevator was not working. Our room was a very long walk. There would be no way an elderly person could walk that far.
