Complete mix up around booking...
Liked: Close proximity to High Post Golf Club
Disliked: Trouble around booking on & money taken from Bank Account that was not applicable

Disappointing
Liked: The staff were generally fine, however in the restaurant we asked for a wine list, she said they didn’t have one but she knew what the wines were, she said Red White Rose &fizzy
Disliked: The showers in one of the rooms was dangerously hot & a H&S issue, the evening staff allowed us to use another room to shower, however that shower temp gauge was the same, four of us had to use one shower. There was a problem at check out where they tried to say I had to pay for a 3rd room, which I had not cancelled & for which they had taken money from our cards, I produced an e mail & my booking.com records showing the cancellation, all of which took over half an hour to sort out. Eventually when I insisted on speaking to a manager did I get the someone who helped & said the money would be re instated. I very much hope that is the case. The food was poor quality & clearly not freshly made.

Lovely hotel, rude staff
Liked: The location was perfect for nearby attractions, the bed was very comfortable and shower was lovely, room wasn’t the biggest but perfect space, the cleaners were the only friendly staff in the building they were lovely.
Disliked: The staff were the rudest staff I’ve ever encountered at a hotel, unwelcoming, unfriendly, no customer service skills at all, not usually one to moan so this speaks volumes. There are multiple potholes on the car park that could have easily damaged my tyre but the car park has plenty of spaces

Disappointment from a nice looking...
Liked: Proximity to Stonehenge and parking was great. Staff were pleasant. Venue itself looked nice.Buffet breakfast was OK.
Disliked: Room was not what I’d booked (got two singles rather than a double)Toilet was not cleaned from prior guests. Obviously not checked by house keeping. Unable to turn off mirror light (too need to swipe which I did repeatedly at all angles and lengths under the sensor) ended up pulling card for electric to turn everything off, now no TV to drown out patron noise.I was too tired after travel to raise the issues so I let reception staff know in the morning and was offered no compensation.Dinner was horrible. Steak was tough, overpriced and could hear the kitchen staff coughing and sneezing throughout service. Wasn’t given a bill and was charged for another tables meal, then had to wait to have this corrected/refunded.Wedding on site so the noise from the party in the car park and the main road made it hard to sleep. Bed/pillows was uncomfortable.

Staff lovely, but I wouldn't...
Liked: The staff were helpful and offered me a new room when the first one was dirty/run down.
Disliked: Not very clean. The hallways looked like they hadn't been hoovered in a long time. The first room I was in had pubic hairs on the bathroom floor. The blind was broken and stuck shut, and the TV remote was missing. Breakfast was disappointing.

Good but could be better!
Liked: I’ve stayed here a few times before and this hotel is one of my favourite hotels to stay in. It’s very clean and it’s only a few minutes away from my work place.
Disliked: The only issue we had was that the room we stayed in as a couple was very small for our size. Previously, we usually stayed in bigger rooms. Hopefully, rooms could be allocated to customers according to their built and size.
