The accommodations were nice and...
Liked: We were visiting Carthage College and this is a very convenient location to campus being only minutes away. It's a little more expensive than a common chain of hotels, but offers clean and cozy accommodations, courteous staff, and a unique vibe. It is convenient to restaurants and the beach, with beautiful shoreline parks just short drives away.
Disliked: The internet was out the night of our stay, so no TV or wifi, but overall, we enjoyed our stay despite this minor disappointment.

Liked: It was my birthday when I stayed here for the first time & my friends wanted to surprise me by putting gifts in my room before I checked in. So the staff made that happen, and nothing like that has ever happened to me before. Walking into my room had me truly shocked, was such a great way to start my mini vacation. My entire experience there was nice, relaxing, and fun. The staff was really friendly anytime I passed someone that worked there. I will definitely come here again.

We traveled fir a family...
Liked: Taylor at the front desk was so helpful and professional.We arrived late , after restaurant /bar was closed and he gave us options for ordering food for delivery.He was very helpful in answering questions regarding where to go and did it in a friendly manner. Kenny at the Bar was excellent in describing the food and beverage available and always checking to make sure we had what we needed.I will definitely come back when visiting family.The room was a king suite with private bedroom, and kitchen facilities such as fridge and microwave.Great hotel in the area.. many restaurants in the Marina area and two nice museums to visit.
Disliked: Nothing, had an enjoyable stay with no complaints.The only problem was that bags had to go up the front steps but for us , our driver helped us since there is no valet.
