Long delays at check in...
Liked: Beautiful place. Clean and well cared for.
Disliked: The power was out when we arrived. That was a bit annoying. Not able to get food or coffees/drinks. Staff unable to sell. The pool. WHY is it so cold. Really disappointing as we didn’t use it. Even access to other pool again was colder. Why do you do this.

One of the best hotel...
Liked: One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in.Friendly, polite, and helpful staff. Great buffet breakfast. Clean. Extra service offered without directly requesting. Staff were attentive to guests' requests even though they were super busy during Easter break. We will definitely come back next time!
Disliked: Nothing to be honest!

Great spot but not so...
Liked: This hotel is perfectly located for anyone attending an event at the Convention Centre, as we were. The footbridge gives safe, dry and easy access across the waterway, even with a pram or wheelchair. The staff were pleasant and the pool was much enjoyed.
Disliked: I'd start by admitting we were on holiday with a 2-year-old, so some of our irritation wouldn't be shared by other guests. We didn't feel like we got value for our money, and felt like every step of our stay was an inconvenience. We selected in part for on-site parking, but said parking space is also for casino patrons, and finding a spot on a Friday afternoon was a mission. Once inside, dragging bags and carting our toddler, the main floor is a warren of going nowhere. The actual reception is nowhere near the elevator or the door, and we had to go up an escalator, down a hall, and around a corner to find the desk. The wait time was about 15mins, which perhaps felt less reasonable because I was already annoyed and holding my squirming toddler. In our room, which was clean and tidy with a big window, the room we felt we'd paid quite a lot for had no extras or any sign of being in a 'fancy' hotel. The beds were squashy and worn-in, and the aircon loudly cycled on and off all night, meaning we woke constantly either freezing or sweating. The restaurants downstairs are geared toward adults, not families, so we had to go further afield to eat dinner each night, as there was no cutlery or plates in our room. The hotel is a bit tired and doesn't feel as glitzy or special as it did when I visited it as Jupiters.
