Disliked: Corridors - a bit dowdy - lift said - if you get stuck !

Staff and food were outstanding

Liked: The staff were all amazingOur celebration dinner was just fab
Disliked: I thought our bathroom although good, certain elements will need upgrading soon.

Pleasant short term stay

Liked: Distance from airport very convenient.
Disliked: Place need refurbishing as the rooms and hallways appeared "tired" and did not match the outside appearance of the premises.

Exceptional

Liked: The Stanleyland was a really lovely hotel , we were made to feel welcome as soon as we entered , shout out to Josh and Chris who were so lovely and the bar staff ❤️ the room was very clean and very comfortable I loved our stay
Disliked: I can't say anything I didn't like because it was a beautiful hotel and all the staff were amazing

Great very nice grounds .

Liked: Value for money property was easy to find. Reception staff helpful . Breakfast was very good all staff pleasant. Drinks can be a bit over priced but hotel makes up for it .
Disliked: There wasn’t anything that bad about the hotel . It’s what you make of your stay.

Convenient for family visit but...

Disliked: Dated furnishings and decor, smokers at entrance as we arrived. Meandering corridors to get to bedroom which was cold on arrival

Disappointing - after staying a...

Liked: Check in was easy, location good and free parking. Shower excellent
Disliked: I ordered lamb for dinner - waitress came back and said they had none. So I ordered Duck - waitress came back and said that they only had 1 left (my sister had already ordered it) So I ordered Salmon and we also ordered an extra portion of veg on the side - which never came out until the end - too late. Breakfast food is kept in warm dishes which by the time you get back to your table is then only warm and not hot The bed was really soft and not comfortable at all. There was a wedding on and we got woke up when guests returning to their rooms shouting. Frayed carpet in the room too
