Housed in the former Camden Town Hall Annex in London's thriving King's Cross neighborhood the 1974 Brutalist building has been meticulously restored and is The Standard's first hotel outside America. The property is just across the street from St Pancras International and Underground stations. All 266 rooms from cozy Cozy Cores to terraced suites with outside bathtubs are uniquely decorated featuring private bathrooms flat-screen TVs Bang & Olufsen speakers Italian bedding and complimentary toiletries. The Standard London also features an eclectic in-house library lounge and bar as well as its' cultural hub; the Sound Studio which hosts regular DJs live music events and talks. Double Standard The Standard London's bar and terrace serves delicious hearty fare accompanied by beers classic cocktails and offers a bottomless brunch on a Sunday while next door in Isla all-day dining from breakfast until late is available. The exterior red elevator takes guests directly to the 10th-floor where Chef Peter Sanchez-Iglesias' restaurant Decimo showcases live fire cooking and the building's 360-degree views of London. Modern and extremely comfortable with...

Liked: The location was great close to the train station. We really enjoyed the room itself with the couch and the bathroom was amazing. The best was super comfortable which was just what we needed after a long day of travel.
Disliked: No bathroom fan or toilet brush

Liked: The friendly staff and the quirky decor it's definitely where Austin Powers would have stayed!.The rooms were really quite big and the beds comfortable.
Disliked: The slow service in the double standard and small portion sizes in the same.
