Disliked: Large and nice room but some funky damp smell in the room, did report it to the staff and the solution was to open the window....as a temporary relief.

Liked: The location, the view from the room, the facilities, the friendly staff. Would definitely return/recommend to others.
Disliked: The only reason we didn't give a 100% satisfied rating was because of the very noisy fridge in the room which we had to unplug in order to get any sleep!

Liked: Fantastic view and a lovely comfortable bed. really friendly and efficient staff. There was no kettle or cups in our room but one was provided as soon as I requested it. Great location on the edge of East Village with easy access to the subway at Astor place.
Disliked: Huge bed was comfy but dominated the room - no space for a bedside table on my side of the bed. The huge mini bar was well stocked but not something we would use, and it meant limited space for our clothes (we were staying nearly a week)
