Liked: Great location. Cosy room, well heated on a very cold day.Staff made us extremely welcome and very friendly.Menu, food and drinks very good.
Disliked: The bed was smaller than we are used to which was a bit of a challenge for a great night’s sleep.

Lovely stay lovely hotel/pub restaurant...

Liked: The property was lovely and quaint . It was quiet and relaxing . Staff were very accommodating and really helpful polite and nice house keeping and restaurant and bar staff all lovely .
Disliked: Tue fact there was not a porter or security on site . If I was a female staying in my own I would of felt a bit uncomfortable plus the small window in the bedroom wouldNot open fully as there was a bar stopping full Opening of the window this was a huge concern of there was a fire and although all information was at hand as to what to do in an emergency with out of hours numbers tehre is no guarantee that a person will pick up so that me are me a bit concerned and although you can call fire brigade or police if there was any altercations of someone attempted to get in my room I could not get out as the window willNot open fullSo for fire amd safety I think this is an issue and the windows should be changed . Maybe the other rooms are not like this but this should be written down somewhere so that a person is aware before they make their booking . If I was alone I would have requested another room . Otherwise the stay was lovely . It’s a sharp turn into the hotel into the property and easily missed so maybe worth mentioning this .
