Liked: Nice room however we did pay a premium to stay in the main house rather than being put out the back.
Disliked: Receptionist is an interesting person. Very strange check in process with all manner of extra personal details required to be provided. A list of our room's contents was on prominent display, so we made sure the number of cushions in the room were correct in case we needed to notify Sarah at the front desk. At breakfast we were asked twice what our room number was. Our word not being good enough the first time as on the second occasion we were required to produce a room key. This was by the same staff that served us drinks the previous afternoon and dinner that night! Stalarg Speech House?

Liked: Everything was taken care of. The location is excellent for a quiet weekend in the forest. The staff were very helpful. The food was great.
