I’ve stayed in older hotels which were great. It comes down to care and maintenance.

Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: Old and dated.

Liked: Location
Disliked: Roof leaked in several places, sink had hair in it upon check in. The mattress was ancient and very uncomfortable, the wood provided was to green to burn. The shower drain was clogged. Batteries dead un TV remote.

Very good

Liked: The location is great. Can walk to multiple stores. The Caverns in 20 min away.
Disliked: The outside light couldn't turn off, so the room was very bright. The curtains didn't help at all. I had a hard time falling asleep.

Comfortable for staying while attending...

Liked: I have stayed at this hotel a number of times while attending a conference at the U of the South. This year was perhaps the best of these. The room was large and comfortable -- it heated up quite nicely
