Bohemian Look is Lovely but...

Liked: The decor is a standout. This is my second time staying @The Siren. The room was spotless, plenty of towels and very good pillows. The cherry red wood doors in the room, the pink throw on the bed, the colorful tiles that line the Shower are lovely. The location is near stadiums, restaurants downtown.Mr. Ivory at the front desk was very reassuring and helpful.
Disliked: The elevators were not working the evening I arrived-- this was repaired about an hour later. When I finally got to my room, I discovered no (free)TV available - no signal during rainstorm. There were pay to watch options but I figured I paid enough already. The mattress was well worn and I thought the bed frame was too low.

Great Staff, Beautiful Building, But...

Liked: The best thing about our stay was the friendliness of the front desk staff. When checking in, we got lots of information and heads up about the times of closing for businesses in the area to help us figure out our nighttime plans. The front desk even advised us on saving money for parking, helpful information during an overwhelming day. We had a maintenance request for our tv and the service was prompt and friendly, even though the issue didn’t improve for the rest of the stay.
Disliked: When we checked in, there was a brief wait for an available room, and once we got into a room, we had issues with the tv and internet that didn’t improve much for the rest of our stay. Luckily, we were in bed early for our traveling the next day. I feel like the costs come more from location and aesthetics than convenience and amenities. The shower was very nice but we weren’t huge fans of the bed (not very comfortable). Robes were stored in the bathroom, but did not fit which was unfortunate.

Out dated uncomfortable

Liked: Location
Disliked: No refrigerator. We stayed in room 309 and a train/subway rain right next to our bed every 10 minutes. It was miserable. Lumpy uncomfortable bed

Great location but needs some...

Liked: The lobby is beautiful and stylish. The restaurant was really good. Front desk staff very helpful and friendly. Central location for a convention I was attending.
Disliked: The lobby ceiling by the door is falling apart. Lighting is very dim throughout the hotel, so it was difficult navigating the stairs to the basement. Cafe breakfast lady was unhelpful. I asked for a plate and she rolled her eyes. I asked for a China cup instead of paper and she didn’t like that. She should have asked if I wanted takeout or to eat there. Bed and pillows lumpy. Curtains didn’t draw all the way.
