Good

Liked: Bar staff very welcoming on the evening we arrived.Love the atmosphere in the bar area.Room amenities good and very comfortable sleep. Being able to open a window was helpful.Probably could do with an extractor fan inside the bathroom.
Disliked: The breakfast was appalling!Took 40 minutes to arrive. Small white piece of bread toasted with one poached egg and a bit of sauce. Was advertised as Eggs Florentine. Sent it back as they said they could do it on brown bread for me.Had to send it back and waited for another 20 minutes and the result was even worse than the first. Small piece of brown read, burnt around the edges, dry sauce and egg. Awful!Extremely disappointed when everything else about our stay was fine.Cautious about returning.

Great location, cool decor

Liked: The location was amazing. The room was small but comfortable.
Disliked: The breakfast was a completely rubbish. Most of the items were cold, or not available.

Comfy, friendly hotel in great...

Liked: Staff really friendly and great welcome. Live singer in bar fantastic! Breakfast good though need to be re-stocked a little more quickly.
Disliked: No TV remote in room which was annoying but didn’t alter our stay really.

Liverpool City Centre Hotel

Liked: Lovely old style hotel in the heart of Liverpool.Allowed us to check in early and staff were lovely.
Disliked: Breakfast was very poor otherwise super stay

Fabulous hotel

Liked: Friendly staff. Close to Matthew street. Nipping clean. Comfortable. Probably the best sleep I've ever had whilst in a hotel. We never ate here, so can't comment on the food.
Disliked: We loved everything. It could have done with a full length mirror beside the door for 3 of us getting ready. But we couldn't fault this hotel.
