Nice friendly pub with rooms...

Liked: The breakfast was nice when it arrived, but although ordering it for 8 o’clock had to wait till 8:20 to receive The welcome was very nice, very personalised
Disliked: Noise of residence still going on gone 10 o’clock shouting and arguing possibly drunk as well the walls are extremely thin and could hear every word luckily they quieten down before 11 o’clock

A great place to enjoy...

Liked: Traditional pub with rooms. Yes decor is typical ‘old fashioned’ UK but nicely laid out matching furniture and a clean.Good food at the restaurant and breakfast.Very close to nature reserve.

Excellent stay

Liked: Stayed for one night—excellent location with access to some lovely walks. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, the food was amazing, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.
Disliked: Could have done with black out blinds as light shone in to the room early in the morning.

Very good

Liked: We had a lovely room which overlooked the bay. Had nice touches like bottled water and tea, coffee and biscuit facilities which were topped up every day. Breakfast was especially good! Dinner was good too with lots of choice and also had ‘specials’ as well. Staff were lovely and friendly. All in all had a great few days

Restaurant closed on Monday evenings

Liked: Location, staff and breakfast.
Disliked: The restaurant isn't open on Monday evenings. I wish I had known this when booking. There was an Indian Restaurant open in the village fortunately so we dined there ... otherwise we would have had to make do with what we could buy in the village Co-op shop.Also the shower in the room (Room 6) was too hot to use. ?Thermostat broken? So hot it was dangerous. Reported to staff at breakfast.If it isn't broken perhaps staff need to leave instructions in room on how to adjust heat settings. There were two of us in the room and neither of us could manage to adjust the heat.
