Liked: Bed was comfy, warm and nice big suite. Breakfast for 1 was nice
Disliked: Don't offer a veggie breakfast or anything smaller than a full English. Breakfast is included however is only a continental. You have to order a hot breakfast. We were waiting a while as we were the only guests in the restaurant. There was also very limited hot water, ran a bath (advertised as jacuzzi but didn't work) after 5 mins of running water it went stone cold so couldn't even wash in hot water

Disliked: Heating was on constant and maybe made it too warm but won’t knock them for that as most don’t want to put heating on

Liked: Great location for us , friendly helpful staff . Accommodations, I understand new owners may gradually upgrade the rooms . Husband likes a cooked breakfast which we would have paid extra for .,
Disliked: Expectations weren’t high we have used this hotel before, and it was a cheap stay . Value for money was good .

Think twice before booking here.

Liked: Staff seemed friendly enough. Upgraded from chosen room to suite room for free because of special occasion.
Disliked: Upgraded suite had a horrible damp smell, bathroom ceiling was covered in mold. Bathroom light did not work (possibly to hide the mold?) Walls were dirty and were decorated with very poorly cut vinyl offcuts.Curtains had multiple stains on them, some crusty and biological looking, in all different colours. Main door had no locks or chain.Smoke alarm looked as if it had been tampered with as it was pinned to the ceiling by 2 screws, and tilted in a way that allowed a gap that pointed towards the bed, between the ceiling cavity and the alarm mounting bracket. Overall a very poor experience, without even unpacking, we ended up checking back out within 5 minutes of being there. I've seen caravan parks with better hygiene.
