Liked: Breakfast good; room warm and very adequate for an overnight stop
Disliked: We understand they are relatively new owners so still a work in progress with bringing property upto dateto the standard the owners are aiming for.

Disliked: Carpets. I think the price was slightly high comparing to similar options in other places/cities however was the best price in Shepton Mallet.

Liked: The room looked freshly decorated and whilst compact it was very comfortable, with lots of lovely extra touches such as regularly topped up water bottles, hot choc and cookies.Breakfasts were filling and delicious to set you up for the day.Staff friendly.A group of us also enjoyed our pub style lunches too.Being right in town it was very convenient as well.

Liked: Amazing place to stay; so friendly, warm and extremely welcoming. Great breakfast as well.
Disliked: Everything was great. The only disadvantage is that Shepton is pretty quiet on a Saturday night.
