Good location and clean comfy...

Liked: Cleaning staff was very nice and accommodating. I got food poisoning (elsewhere) and they cleaned and provided more towels, etc. as needed and worked around me. Sweet people.Great beds and linens. Good shower with plenty of hot water. No extras.
Disliked: No coffee or bottled water in the room. Had to pay $25 for the refrigerator.The TV reception was awful. Could not watch it and the "engineer' could not fix. I don't come to NYC to watch TV, but I was sick for two days....The "two bedroom" was actually one room with 3 sections down one side. Two sort of like rooms on the ends, the middle section like an alcove with a sofa bed. No real sitting area for 3 people. No doors on the 2 "bedrooms." Had to ask for extra towels, linens and blankets for the sofa bed, but they brought them.Only mirror was in the bathroom.Rather dim lighting. No USB ports.

The Shorham is convenient to...

Liked: The bed was very comfortable. There was an excellent restaurant across the street, Michael's. MOMA was within walking distance as well as Lincoln Center.
Disliked: The noise on the street went on until after 1 am. The elevator was unpredictable and one was out of order.

Excellent! Price-location relationship

Liked: Location is a most! The house keeping staff is exceptional, room was cleaned every day. A super kind lady received us for the check-in.Hotel has a small shop where they sell water, coffee, and snacks at very good prices. Not have the option for early check-in.
Disliked: Some personnel are rude, very few. Probably it is related to cultural matters.
