Took thirty years to get...

Liked: Location is perfect, room lovely, staff excellent. We don't normally spend quite so much on hotel accommodation but it was a special occasion, Jackie's birthday and The Shelbourne lived up to expectations. Thirty years ago we visited Dublin for the first time together and walked past The Shelbourne and we said "one day". Four children, twenty five years of marriage and we made it. Hopefully it won't be quite so long for our next visit.
Disliked: Small criticism the coffee machine in the room was maddening :o

Liked: Lovely hotel. The bed was super comfortable and the location is top-notch.
Disliked: The bathroom was quite small in our balcony room . A walk-in shower would have been preferred. The bar food was mediocre. The Irish Breakfast pre-cooked.!! Overall, I am disappointed with the quality of food considering the price paid for stay a 5-star hotel.
