Liked: Beautiful place, classy, tasteful decor. Comfortable with a luxury feel. Really friendly & welcoming staff.Great breakfast.Facilities in room were excellent.
Disliked: The room itself was really rather small - it was advertised as a small double in fairness - but it really was very tight. No hanging facilities other than coat hooks on the wall.I’d struggle with this size of room for anything more than one night.

Amazing staff and great location!

Liked: Breakfast was pretty amazing every day. All staff was very helpful and kind. I had broken a bone in my wrist several days before and every time I asked for help m even if it was cutting my croissant or opening a bottle of water they were happy to assist.
Disliked: My room was really small and tight and there was little room to do anything except crawl in to bed and walk around the bottom of the bed to the bathroom. The biggest disappointment was that there was no small refrigerator in the room. I had to walk to the front desk every morning to collect the milk for coffee that was being kept in the kitchen refrigerator. I appreciate using technology where appropriate, however, many of the controls in the room were controlled by an iPad that I didn’t know how to work.

Gorgeous stay in Richmond!

Liked: This place was really nice! First of all it's extremely close to the train station, so that is super convenient. When I was looking up places to stay in for Richmond, I read a lot of concerns about the loudness of airplanes and chose the Selwyn because it had the least (or no) complaints. I did not hear a single airplane!The decor was top notch and everything looked very nice. The shower was great and the bed was comfy. The room was small, but I don't think that can be helped. The staff was really nice. We came to Richmond for some Ted Lasso tourism and it was a 10 minute walk to the Ted Lasso street and store.
Disliked: The only thing is that the walls were very thin. I could hear my friends talking in the next room! And they said they could hear a man snoring in the room on the other side (but they never said they could hear us).

Liked: Close to city centre and has car parking. Smallish room but nicely decorated and clean.

Eventful but a good stay….

Liked: Location excellent, staff are amazing, friendly, helpful going beyond expectations. Breakfast very good. I fell up an unmarked step (safety) when coming out of the lift and the staff were amazing looking after me. Hopefully they will now put a safety rod across the step.
Disliked: The room was noisy from tge generators outside which disturbed our sleep but otherwise everything else was very good….
